Our Facilities

The Great Outdoors

Our outdoor environment is welcoming and accessible. We have natural elements, rocks, plants, mud and trees.

There is a large sandpit where children can dig and build sand castles, a large grass area, play equipment, a vegie patch for gardening and an undercover veranda which provides an area to play out of the rain, wind or sun.

There is natural shade and shade sails which provide a sun smart environment. Each group has exclusive use of the outdoor area. The children have space to climb, run and practise skills and engage in physical activity.

A Comfortable Learning Environment

Our indoor room is light and airy, with lots of spaces for individual and group activities. We are continually improving the facilities. The Committee of Management applies for grants, has regular working bees and Bayside Council contribute to improvements and maintenance of the indoor and outdoor areas.

Early Years Infrastructure Plan

The Victorian State Government in collaboration with Bayside Council is committed to building, expanding and improving early years infrastructure. This is to ensure existing facilities can be upgraded to meet the growing demand for 3 and 4 year old sessional kindergarten in response to the State Government’s Free Kinder scheme.
